Tampan - Textile Museum Tilburg

For and with the Dutch artist Jennifer Tee, I designed three textile wall-pieces which were presented at the exhibition Cultural Threads at the Textile Museum Tilburg. The shapes, patterns and colours are inspired by ancient weaving techniques from Indonesia and translated to the modern, mashine-based weaving technique Jacquard. The wall-carpets were produced at the museum’s very own production facilities in close cooperation with the technical staff, to translate the digital designs into detailed technical weaving files.
